Configuring Remote Access

Adding Remote Logpoint

  1. Go to Settings >> Configuration from the navigation bar and click Distributed Logpoints.

  2. Click ADD REMOTE LOGPOINT.

Remote Logpoint

  1. Enter the remote Logpoint’s IP Address or DNS Name.

  2. Enter the Password and the Private IP configured while Enabling Open Door on the remote Logpoint.

  3. Click Submit.

Refresh the page if the Status column in Actions does not change to Connected. The DLP selector is visible in the title bar of the Settings page.

Adding a Syslog Forwarder

  1. Go to Settings >> Configuration from the navigation bar and click Distributed Logpoint.

  2. Click ADD SYSLOG FORWARDER.

Syslog Forwarder

  1. Enter the IP Address to add as the Syslog Forwarder.

  2. Click Submit.

The Syslog Forwarder is listed in the Distributed Collector dropdown when Adding a Device. To add the corresponding devices, you must first Export the configuration file of the added Syslog Forwarder and then Import it.

Editing a Distributed Logpoint

  1. Go to Settings >> Configuration from the navigation bar and click Distributed Logpoint.

  2. Click the Name of the Logpoint and update the information.

  3. Click Submit.

Deleting a Distributed Logpoint

  1. Go to Settings >> Configuration from the navigation bar and click Distributed Logpoint.

  2. Click the delete icon (Delete) under Actions.

  3. Click Yes.

Downloading the Data

  1. Go to Settings >> Configuration from the navigation bar and click Distributed Logpoint.

  2. Click the download icon (download) under Actions.
